100h Advanced
YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

You’ve completed your 200-hour training. You know the foundations. You’ve started teaching.

Now it’s time to go deeper.

The 100-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training at SHA-LA Studios is designed for yoga teachers who want to continue learning, refine their teaching skills, and develop a deeper understanding of yoga, movement, and the practice.

Across four immersive training weekends, you’ll explore advanced asana, teaching methodology, sequencing, movement principles, and yoga philosophy — with space to question, experiment, practice, and develop your own voice as a teacher.

This is not about collecting more poses or teaching more complicated classes.

It’s about becoming a more knowledgeable, adaptable, and intentional teacher.

Go beyond the foundations

A 200-hour training gives you the foundation. Advanced study gives you the opportunity to question those foundations, expand your perspective, and find more depth in your teaching.

In this 100-hour module, we’ll dive deeper into:

  • Advanced asana technique and exploration

  • Functional movement and intelligent sequencing

  • Teaching methodology and communication

  • Advanced cueing and hands-on teaching

  • Creative sequencing and class architecture

  • Yoga philosophy and its application to modern teaching

  • Breath, awareness, and the relationship between movement and mind

  • Refining your personal teaching style

  • Exploring different approaches and perspectives within yoga

  • Practice, observation, discussion, and teaching labs

The emphasis is on learning through doing — practicing, teaching, receiving feedback, asking questions, and refining your approach.

A space to evolve as a teacher

Advanced training is not about finding one “right” way to teach.

It’s about becoming more curious.

You’ll be encouraged to explore different methods, challenge your assumptions, and develop a stronger understanding of why you teach what you teach.

Through practical workshops, movement exploration, teaching labs, and philosophical inquiry, you’ll have the opportunity to refine both your skills and your perspective.

You’ll leave with more tools — but also with more clarity about which tools are actually yours.
