What can shift when you step out of your head and let your body lead?

For the first time, Karimu Samuels is opening the Re:Human Lab to his Berlin community through four movement sessions.

The Lab is more than a series of classes: It is a living space for exploration and creation, an opportunity to experience new approaches, deepen the Re:Human Movement practice and discover together what movement can unlock. By joining, you are not simply taking part in a class; you become part of the creative journey as the work continues to evolve.

Join one session, return several times or experience the full series. Each Lab explores a different focus, while every return allows you to go deeper. There is nothing to perform and no right way to move, this is a space for us to create, experience and explore together.

Guided by Karimu himself, Re:Human Movement invites you to reconnect with your body, move beyond familiar patterns and discover new ways of meeting yourself and others. The transformation happens not only within you, but between us: when we move together, the collective creates an energy, courage and connection that are difficult to reach alone.

Re:Human Movement is your invitation into a new era of movement, one that brings you back into your body, closer to others and more alive in the way you move through life.

What might become possible when you stop moving on autopilot and start feeling fully human again?

Good to know

What to wear
Come in comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Loose-fitting clothes are especially suitable for this practice.

Barefoot practice
We recommend experiencing the class barefoot. As we will be sharing the space closely, we kindly ask everyone to arrive with clean feet, so we keep the experience comfortable for all of us.

What to bring
Please bring enough water. You are also welcome to bring a journal and pen if you would like to capture any thoughts or reflections that arise during the session.

Photography and filming
A videographer will be present to document selected parts of the experience. Some of this material may be shared across the RE:HUMAN and SHA-LA websites, social media, newsletters and other promotional channels. Your experience and sense of safety always come first. We will approach filming with care and will not intentionally capture intimate or emotionally sensitive moments.

Time
Each Lab is designed as a 90-minute experience. As the process unfolds live and we do not want to rush its closing, we recommend keeping up to 30 additional minutes free after the scheduled end. Some sessions may finish on time, while others may benefit from a little more space to complete, reflect and integrate.
