ABOUT
A YOGA STUDIO IN BERLIN WITH ROOM FOR EVERY PRACTICE
SHA-LA started as a yoga studio on Kastanienallee, and yoga is still the heartbeat of the house. Today more than 90 teachers hold classes across our two yoga studios in Prenzlauer Berg and Kreuzberg, from sunrise flows to candlelit Yin at night. On one schedule you will find Vinyasa in every mood, Power Hatha and Jivamukti, Yin with live sound, prenatal and postnatal yoga, handstands and inversions, and advanced classes for experienced practitioners.
What makes yoga at SHA-LA different is the people. Our teachers come from many lineages and countries, and we encourage them to teach what they actually practise. That gives you a schedule with real variety and classes with a point of view, held in two of the most beautiful rooms in Berlin: a 19th-century grain storehouse on the Spree and a light-filled altbau studio on Kastanienallee.

COMMUNITY
COME AS YOU ARE
Nobody at SHA-LA cares how far you can fold. Beginners are welcome in every class unless it is marked otherwise, options are offered in every pose, and our teachers remember your name. Many of our community started with the two-week Trial Pass, tried five different teachers and stayed for years.
Yoga at SHA-LA also connects to everything else we do: pair your practice with strength training at SHA-LA Strength, breathwork, sound baths and Yoga Nidra, or go deeper in our Academy teacher trainings.
