STRENGTH TRAINING CLASSES IN BERLIN PRENZLAUER BERG — COACH-LED CIRCUIT TRAINING IN SMALL GROUPS AT SHA-LA STRENGTH, KASTANIENALLEE 64. FOR YOUR FIRST SESSION AND YOUR STRONGEST LIFT.
ABOUT
STRENGTH TRAINING IN BERLIN THAT ACTUALLY COACHES YOU
SHA-LA Strength is a dedicated strength training studio in Prenzlauer Berg, a few doors down from our original yoga studio. Classes are circuit-based and coach-led: a warm-up, a technique block, then a programmed circuit with barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells and bodyweight. Groups are small, so your coach sees every rep.
The programming is progressive. Week by week the load, the volume or the complexity increases, and your coach tracks where you are. That is how strength is built, and it is the opposite of a random workout.

COMMUNITY
STRONG IS FOR EVERYONE
Strength training has a reputation for being intimidating and for being a men’s space. SHA-LA Strength was built to change that: beginners feel as welcome as seasoned lifters, our coaches are kind as well as precise, and the room looks and feels like the rest of SHA-LA, not like a gym.
Pair your strength sessions with yoga, Pilates and recovery across our studios. The SHA-LA Strength X 2 trial lets you try two classes before you commit.
WHAT TO BRING
- Indoor training shoes (required — no street shoes on the floor)
- Training towel and water bottle
- Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I have never lifted weights. Can I join?
Yes. Every class is scaled to you. Start with a Foundations class or tell your coach it is your first time and they will set your weights and versions of each exercise.
How often should I train for results?
Two to three strength sessions a week is the sweet spot for most people. Our programming is built around that rhythm.
What is circuit strength training?
You move through a sequence of stations, each with a strength exercise, for a set time or number of reps, with rest built in. It combines proper loading with the energy of a group class.
Can I combine strength training with yoga?
Absolutely, and we think you should. Many of our community lift twice a week and practise yoga or Pilates on the days in between. One membership covers all SHA-LA studios.
